Why Type Of Techniques Do Your Audio Sessions Use?

All Self Help Audio CD's are custom made in our studio using a combination of techniques. Each audio session starts with what's known as the 'induction' phase, in which the listener is relaxed through visualization in combination with soothing backgrounds. Once relaxed, the listener is read a self-help script related to their goals by a soft voice, followed by what's referred to as a 'deepener'; in which an even deeper state of rest/sleep is encouraged. After some time to become fully relaxed (most people are sleeping at this point), positive affirmations are repeated softly for a length of time, until they eventually fade out, followed by a very gradual fading of the ambient backgrounds (as to not disrupt the listeners rest with any abrupt changes).

That's it; our Self Help Audio CD's are basically comprised of soothing background audio, therapeutic scripts read aloud, and positive affirmations. We don't utilize any of 'high-tech' techniques some other self-help audio providers do - not because we're incapable of producing binaural beats, subliminal messages, stereo confusion and other similar audio techniques - but because we've found this is what works best.

Does Self Help Audio Work For Everyone?

"Self Help Audio" can involve any of a number of different techniques, including spoken therapy, self-hypnosis, binaural beats, affirmations, and even subliminal messages. Quite often, self help audio sessions involve using a combination of these techniques used with one another, either simultaneously or in succession.

People tend to have different susceptibilities to different techniques - but just about everyone is likely to benefit from some sort of self help. Just the act of relaxing and taking the time to address your concerns is a big step forward for most. Over repeated listening sessions, positive affirmations and related teachings have been proven to help most change their way of thinking so that their problems and/or goals can be addressed and dealt with.

While more 'high-tech' techniques such as subliminal messages and binaural beats do help some listeners - their impact is minimal (and sometimes negative), and largely un-necessary in the case of self help. There is no need to subliminally 'mask' the messages for example - the user wants to hear and is already receptive to what is being said.
